On October 24, 2019, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2019/28, launching a ban on glass fiber and its products originating in China (Turkish: camelyaf?takviyemalzemeleri) An anti-circumvention investigation was launched to examine whether the Chinese products involved were re-exported to Turkey through Thailand to circumvent anti-dumping measures. The Turkish tax numbers of the products involved are 7019.11, 7019.12, 7019.19, 7019.31, 7019.90.00.10.00, and 7019.90.00.30.00.
On January 22, 2010, Turkey launched an anti-dumping investigation into glass fiber and its products originating in China. On December 31, 2010, Turkey made a final anti-dumping ruling on Chinese glass fiber and its products and began to levy an anti-dumping tax of 20.20-23.75% based on the landed price (CIF) (see the former Turkish Ministry of Economic Affairs Announcement No. 2011/1). On April 17, 2015, Turkey made a final anti-dumping review on the Chinese products involved in the case, and the anti-dumping duties on the Chinese products involved in the case were adjusted to 24.50-35.75% (see Announcement No. 2015/5 of the former Ministry of Economic Affairs of Turkey). On November 3, 2016, Turkey extended its anti-dumping duties on Chinese products involved for the first time.
