In terms of foreign exchange transactions, buyers from Afghanistan purchase aviation kerosene and liquefied gas from the Turkmen Bashi Petroleum Processing Complex, and buyers from the United Arab Emirates and Turkey purchase from the Turkmen Natural Gas National Concern. To purchase industrial sulfur, Panama buyers purchase urea from Turkmen Industrial Agency Import and Export Co., Ltd., and buyers from Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, China, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries purchase colorless flat glass, Portland cement, Cotton yarn and cotton fiber, the total contract value exceeds US$22 million.
In terms of local currency transactions, buyers from Russia, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Turkey purchased cotton yarn from Turkmenistan, with the contract amount exceeding 4.544 million manats.
In the domestic market, Turkmenistan’s domestic enterprises purchased high-density polyethylene from the Turkmen Gas State Concern, with a transaction volume of 2.82 million manats.
