The Turkmenistan National News Agency reported on September 21 that during the week of September 16-22, 64 contracts were registered at the Turkmenistan National Commodity Raw Materials Exchange.
In terms of foreign exchange transactions, buyers from the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Singapore, Afghanistan, Malta, and Kazakhstan came from the Turkmenbashi Petroleum Processing Complex and Sejin Refinery respectively. The factory purchases straight-run gasoline, liquefied natural gas, and automotive gasoline. Purchasers from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan purchase colorless flat glass, ceramic tiles, coatings, and cotton yarn from Turkmenistan, with a total contract value of more than $22.387 million.
In terms of local currency transactions, buyers from Russia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, China, and Kazakhstan purchased cotton yarn from Turkmenistan, with the contract amount exceeding 7.786 million manats.
In the domestic market, Turkmenistan’s domestic companies purchased high-density polyethylene and motor vehicles, with a transaction volume of more than 225,000 manats.
