According to the Turkmenistan State News Agency, during the week from July 29 to August 4, 30 contracts were registered at the Turkmenistan State Commodity Raw Materials Exchange.
In terms of foreign exchange transactions, buyers from Afghanistan and Kazakhstan purchase base oil and urea from Turkmenistan; buyers from Russia, the United States, China, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan Purchase colorless flat glass and cotton yarn from Turkmenistan. The total contract value exceeds US$3.923 million.
In terms of local currency transactions, buyers from Russia, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, China, Pakistan, and Kyrgyzstan purchased cotton yarn and licorice root tea beverages from Turkmenistan, with a total transaction volume of more than 700 Wan Manat.
In the domestic market, Turkmenistan’s domestic enterprises purchased polypropylene film, with a transaction volume of 613,000 manats.
