But everything is different. Just like we have become desensitized to the expressions of black swans and gray rhinoceros, we begin to adapt to changes and become at peace with them, becoming less panic and nervous and more calm and tenacious.
Streaming light depicts, still water flows deeply. As 2021 passes us by, it also leaves deep marks and profound questions behind us.
The Internet is under antitrust, entertainment live broadcasting is under regulation, the education and training industry is under double reduction, and real estate is under pressure. What kind of foundation can last forever?
Green development has blossomed rapidly from concept to reality. When Bitcoin exited, the Metaverse jumped to the forefront of the market. What is the real value?
In the face of problems, some people say, “There are no successful companies, only companies of the times.” Indeed, contemporary nature means success. An organization that can integrate into the tide of the times and create real value for the people must be successful, respected, strong, and viable. All certainty in change comes from being with the right people, persisting and working hard to do the right things.
Our work is undoubtedly the right thing that conforms to the logic of the times, and all of us are undoubtedly the right people who have the courage to work hard and contribute.
In the past year, we have strengthened our beliefs, acted with courage, raced against time, competed with the epidemic, and demonstrated decisiveness in our choices;
In the past year, we have traveled thousands of miles, walking non-stop, accompanying the carriages and horses, and the lights, showing a kind of execution ability in the progress;
Over the past year, we have worked closely together, working together with each other and the industry to demonstrate a sense of cohesion in our cooperation.
There are so many people in this world, how lucky I am to have us. It is because of everyone’s efforts that our industry has achieved new development and opened up a new situation.
1. Industry work in 2021 will make positive contributions to the stable development of the economy and society
(1) Adhere to the guidance of party building and ensure the correct development direction of the industry
The China Textile Federation adheres to the party’s overall leadership and integrates the study and education of party history throughout the industry’s service work. The party building work has been deepened, and the team’s organizational strength, cohesion and combat effectiveness have been significantly enhanced. In accordance with the unified deployment of the Party Central Committee and the requirements of the Party Committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the China Textile Federation continues to deepen party building work under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Focusing on the arrangements and arrangements of the “China Textile Federation Party Committee Party History Study and Education Work Plan”, party organizations at all levels have carried out in-depth party history study and education activities in various forms such as party lectures by leading cadres, special training classes, themed party day activities, etc. Study and comprehend the rich connotations and practical requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s series of speeches and the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, continuously enhance the “four consciousnesses”, strengthen the “four self-confidences”, and achieve “two safeguards”. The China Textile Federation insists on combining party history learning and education activities with a series of activities to celebrate the centenary of the founding of the party. It has published “The Glory of the Power of a Strong Country – A Record of Party Building in the National Textile Industry” and launched the “Celebrate the Centenary of the Founding of the Party, Relive the Red Memories, and Concentrate” Celebrating the textile industry through rich content and various forms of celebrations such as the Party Day event with the theme of “Strengthening Forward”, the “Starting a New Journey – Party Building and Corporate Culture Stories in the National Textile Industry” short video contest, and the “Most Beautiful Textile People” member works exhibition The 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party has created a good atmosphere. The construction of grassroots organizations and the education and management of party members have been continuously improved. Party organizations at all levels conscientiously held special democratic life meetings, organizational life meetings, symposiums and other activities to examine problems and clarify directions; the adjustment and reelection of six grassroots party organizations was successfully completed, and the performance evaluation and evaluation of party building by the secretaries of grassroots party organizations was carried out and other work; the selection and commendation work of the party group’s “Creating the First and Striving for Excellence” was carried out smoothly, and the Party Branch of ChinaIndustrial Textiles Industry Association was awarded the honorary title of “National Advanced Grassroots Party Organization” by the Party Central Committee . Solid and meticulous party building work has further strengthened the party’s leadership role in the industry.
Institutional construction is progressing steadily, and the internal management of the association continues to be optimized. In accordance with the development needs of building industry associations in the new era, China Textile Federation has steadily promoted the association’s reelection, decoupling, reform of public institutions and other work, and continuously improved its own construction. Various rules and regulations have become more standardized, and the relationship between “people, property, things, and things” has become increasingly straightened out. Establish enterprise annuity for the employees of the federation headquarters and some units to solve the problemThe construction of information infrastructure in industries such as the Internet of Things will guide enterprises to “go to the cloud, use data, and empower intelligence.” Accelerate the digital transformation of the entire industry chain, continue to create pilot demonstrations of industry intelligent manufacturing, and improve the standard system of industry intelligent manufacturing. Promote the research and industrial promotion of artificial intelligence in product development. Promote the innovation and standardized development of live streaming economy, cross-border e-commerce and other models. Do a good job in building a public service platform for the application and promotion of digital transformation in the textile and apparel industry, and provide precise and diversified services for the digital transformation of industry enterprises. Organize important industry events such as the China Textile Industry Integration Conference, the China Textile and Garment Industry Big Data Summit, and the China Textile and Garment Industry Industrial Internet Forum to connect high-quality resources and promote digital transformation and upgrading.
3. Form green solutions oriented towards value creation
We must focus on implementing the “double carbon” goal and steadily establish an industrial system with green, low-carbon, and circular development in accordance with scientific laws, industrial laws, and market laws. We must realize that the carbon peak is the national carbon peak, not the carbon peak of each department; the carbon peak and carbon neutrality are a complex project and a long-term task. Industry services must accelerate the construction of a system and continuously improve all-dimensional green service capabilities from technology, products to capital and management. Continue to promote the “30·60 Carbon Neutral Acceleration Plan”, carry out in-depth product life cycle assessment projects, and improve research and promotion in carbon footprint accounting, emission reduction roadmap formulation and other aspects. Establish pilot demonstrations and application promotion of green technologies, and carry out services related to the construction of green manufacturing systems. Strengthen sustainable product design and development and promote green fiber certification. Organize green development conferences, sustainable fashion weeks and other events well. Promote the establishment of a recycling system for waste textile and clothing resources. Organize relevant display and publicity activities for the sustainable development of the industry. Continue to innovate social responsibility construction systems and tools and methods, expand applicable subjects and fields, and deepen international exchanges and cooperation in social responsibility.
4. Form fashion solutions for cultural confidence
Deeply explore China’s excellent traditional culture, the world’s advanced culture, and contemporary lifestyles to empower the fashion development of the industry. Guided by “masters, big names, and big events”, we will continue to conduct research and release on fashion trends across the entire industry chain. Promote smart tools to empower fashion research. Promote the implementation of popular trends in enterprises and clusters, and improve the product research and development system. In-depth promotion of brand building work. Continue to do a good job in brand cultivation and creative design park construction, organize special industry activities on China Brand Day, hold the China Textile and Apparel Brand Conference, and improve the brand value evaluation system. Take the Beijing Winter Olympics as an opportunity to promote the international development of the brand. Continue to successfully host China International Fashion Week and China International College Student Fashion Week, and promote the establishment of a fashion voice and evaluation system based on Chinese culture. Deepen the industry’s intangible cultural heritage work, promote relevant intangible cultural heritage skills competitions, and support the innovative development of traditional craft workstations and intangible cultural heritage innovation and transformation bases.
Those who do not plan for the overall situation cannot plan for one area. Only by doing business and doing work under the general logic of the times can we better grasp the long-term trend, grasp the main contradictions, and run our own affairs well.
