Last week, inquiries and transactions in Pakistan’s domestic Faisalbad yarn market were very active, and the quotations were strong. Yarn prices in the international market increased slightly. It is expected that strong purchasing demand will continue to support yarn prices in the coming days.
The price of polyester fiber remained unchanged last week, with the price of 1.4D polyester staple fiber remaining at a relatively high level. The import price from China has risen to US$1.20/kg, consistent with the rising price trend in the Chinese market. Viscose yarn prices have remained unchanged over the past eight weeks. Polyester-cotton yarn (PC) and polyester-viscose yarn (PV) remained unchanged amid stable polyester and viscose fiber prices. The demand for PV yarn is very high in Faisalabad yarn market.
