In August 2015, Indonesia exported 13,900 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year increase of 11.83%, and a month-on-month increase of 9.52%; Indonesia imported 58,200 tons of cotton, a year-on-year increase of 11.23%, and a month-on-month increase of 68.29%.
From January to August 2015, Indonesia exported a total of 109,800 tons of cotton yarn, an increase of 24.14% over the same period last year; it imported a total of 444,500 tons of cotton, an increase of 6.53% over the same period last year.
