On October 30, 2017, Health Canada and Loblaw Companies Limited jointly announced a voluntary recall of Chinese-made girls’ jackets.
The products recalled this time are “JoeFresh” brand girls’ jackets (060697191504, 060697191511, 060697191528, 060697191535), and the style code is TGF7OT1104.
About 79 units of the recalled products were sold in Canada from September 2017 to October 2017. The reason for the recall is that the buttons on the jacket can fall off, posing a choking hazard to children if they accidentally eat them. As of October 25, 2017, the company has not received any reports of accidents or personal injuries related to the use of this product.
Health Canada advises consumers to immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to any Loblaw store for a full refund. Canada implements voluntary recall of Chinese girls’ jackets
