Moroccan textile exports to major EU countries maintain growth in the quarter

According to a report on the Moroccan “Economic Life” website on May 22, in the first quarter of 2015, Morocco’s textile exports to France, Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Italy increased by 5% year-on-year, reaching 392.3 million euros. Moroccan textile industry insiders believe that Morocco’s textile exports to the above-mentioned countries increased by 8.8% in 2014, coupled with the growth trend in the first quarter of this year, which means that Morocco has returned to the right track of textile exports to the EU.
