Members of expert group on China-Canada pulp anti-dumping case confirmed

On April 27, 2015, the members of the WTO expert panel for Canada’s case against China’s anti-dumping measures on pulp imported from Canada (DS483) were determined and announced on April 28. The details are as follows:
The chairman of the expert group in this case is Mr. Thomas Cottier, and the members of the expert group are Mr. Greg Weppner and Mr. Shahid Bashir.
At the regular meeting of the WTO Dispute Settlement Body on March 10, 2015, the WTO established an expert group on the case based on Canada’s application (WT/DS483/2) and in accordance with Article 6 of the “Understanding on Dispute Settlement Rules and Procedures”. Brazil, Chile, the European Union, Japan, South Korea, Norway, Singapore, Uruguay and the United States will participate in the expert group process of the case as third parties.
