According to a report by a German news website on May 6, the famous German fashion company HugoBoss announced on Wednesday that it achieved a profit of 75.6 million euros ($85 million) in the first three months of this year, a year-on-year decrease of 6%. Although sales increased by 9% year-on-year to 667.5 million euros, operating profit fell by 5% to 102.8 million euros.
Boss executives said that since the beginning of this year, the company has effectively dealt with the impact of the downturn in consumption in the European clothing industry and still maintained growth in the first quarter. The company is confident that it will maintain strong growth in the next few quarters.
