Dutch fashion clothing brand EGGER acquired

According to a report by “Dutch News Network” on May 5, the fashion clothing brand Etam was acquired by a retail consortium and will restart operations. The EGGER Group declared bankruptcy in April and immediately discussed resumption of mergers and acquisitions with multiple potential investors. According to reports, the acquirer hopes to complete the transaction in mid-May, after which Egger will undergo a large-scale restructuring. Before the specific restructuring plan is introduced, 200 stores will continue to operate and about 2,000 jobs will continue to be retained.
