Among them, the export quantity was 931,000 tons, an increase of 1.9%; the export value was US$2.7 billion, a decrease of 5.2%; the average export unit price was US$2.9/kg, a year-on-year decrease of 7%. The import quantity was 750,000 tons, an increase of 10.5%; the import value was US$2.23 billion, a decrease of 0.8%. The average unit price of imports was US$2.98/kg, a year-on-year decrease of 10.2%.

Among them, the export value of silk thread dropped most obviously, with the export value of US$9.435 million, a year-on-year decrease of 52.9%; the export value of cotton yarn, wool animal hair yarn and chemical fiber yarn were US$150 million, 100 million and 530 million US dollars respectively, a decrease of 27.9% and 21% respectively. % and 16.8%.

Among them, exports to Myanmar had the largest increase, with exports of US$20 million, an increase of 27%; exports to Indonesia and Cambodia both increased to varying degrees, with exports of US$70 million and US$50 million, an increase of 2% and 13.2% respectively. Exports to Vietnam and Malaysia declined, with exports of US$190 million and US$30 million respectively, down 22.7% and 21.8% respectively.
From January to March, China’s yarn exports to Hong Kong were US$390 million, a decrease of 15.3%. Exports to South Asian countries India, Bangladesh and Pakistan all increased, with export amounts of US$130 million, US$210 million and US$130 million respectively, representing year-on-year increases of 1%, 2.1% and 3.6% respectively.
From January to March, China’s yarn exports to Japan were US$90 million, a decrease of 2.5%; exports to North America increased, with an export value of US$160 million, an increase of 18.7%. Exports to the EU and Latin America were US$270 million and US$150 million, a decrease of 21.7% and an increase of 13.3% respectively.
