Kazakhstan provides billion tenge loan for cotton cultivation

Interfax, Almaty, April 16, Kazakhstan’s Agricultural Financial Support Fund will provide 500 million tenge (185.8 tenge = 1 US dollar) loan to small financial institution Ырыс for spring cotton planting Work. From 2012 to 2014, the small lending institution Ырыс provided loans of 1.5 billion tenge to 1,865 agricultural producers. In 2014, the institution provided loans to cultivate a total of 11,871 hectares of cotton.
The Agricultural Financial Support Foundation (joint-stock company) is an enterprise affiliated to the National Agricultural Holding Group. Its mission is to develop agricultural production and operations through the agricultural small loan system.
