According to customs statistics, my country imported 248,600 tons of cotton yarn in March 2015, a significant increase of 100.32% month-on-month and 39.59% year-on-year. Exports of cotton yarn were 29,800 tons, an increase of 29.61% month-on-month and a year-on-year decrease of 30.50%.
From January to March 2015, my country imported a total of 590,600 tons of cotton yarn, a slight increase of 15.26% year-on-year; exported 90,000 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year decrease of 23.94%.
In 2014/15 (2014.9-2015.3), my country imported a total of 130.8 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year increase of 5.06%; exported 209,000 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year decrease of 26.68%.
