Statistics from China Customs show that from January to February 2015, the country’s fabric import and export volume was 6.7 billion meters, a year-on-year increase of 27.2%; the import and export volume was US$9.45 billion, a year-on-year increase of 20.3%. Among them, the export quantity was 6.32 billion meters, an increase of 32%; the export value was US$8.64 billion, an increase of 25.4%; the average export unit price was US$1.37/meter, a year-on-year decrease of 5%. The import quantity was 370 million meters, a decrease of 21.2%; the import value was US$810 million, a decrease of 16.5%; the average import unit price was US$2.17/meter, a year-on-year increase of 6%.
The relevant person in charge of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles said that this year, my country’s fabric exports continued to rise last year, with both export value and quantity maintaining substantial growth in the first two months. At present, export concentration has increased and the export of fabric varieties has grown, which has become the characteristic of my country’s fabric export trade.
Data provided by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles showed that in February this year, the country’s fabric export volume was 2.97 billion meters, a year-on-year increase of 159.1%; the export value was US$3.99 billion, a year-on-year increase of 136.3%. Among them, the export value of cotton cloth, silk woven fabrics, wool animal hair woven fabrics and chemical fiber woven fabrics all increased, with export values ​​of 940 million, 60 million, 30 million and 1.6 billion US dollars respectively, up 92.6%, 99.2% and 79.6% year-on-year respectively. % and 179.5%.
Fabrics exports to ASEAN have increased significantly
The reporter learned that my country’s fabric exports to ASEAN increased significantly from January to February 2015. Fabric exports to the EU, North America and Latin America all increased, while fabric exports to Hong Kong, Japan, and Russia declined. .
Data provided by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles shows that from January to February this year, Asia became the main market for my country’s fabric exports, accounting for 61.1% of China’s fabric exports. The export value was US$5.28 billion, a year-on-year increase of 27.1%. In the first two months of this year, my country’s fabric exports to ASEAN maintained overall growth. The export volume was 1.36 billion meters, a year-on-year increase of 32.7%; the export value was US$2.19 billion, an increase of 28.8%. Among them, fabric exports to Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia and Myanmar all increased, with export amounts of US$880 million, US$390 million, US$250 million, US$170 million and US$120 million respectively, with increases of 34%, 22.7%, 33.4% and US$120 million respectively. 44.7% and 44.4%.

​Export prices have declined
Data provided by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles shows that from January to February 2015, my country’s fabric export price was US$1.37/meter, a year-on-year decrease of 5%. The export price of fabrics to Asia was US$1.53/meter, down 4% year-on-year; the export prices of fabrics to the EU and Latin American markets were US$1.45/meter and 1.09 yuan/meter respectively, down 3.6% and 5.3% respectively.
In addition, in the first two months of this year, the export unit prices of my country’s cotton cloth, silk woven fabrics, wool animal hair woven fabrics and chemical fiber woven fabrics have all declined, reaching US$1.67/meter, US$5.52/meter, US$7.19/meter and US$1.11 respectively.
