The latest data from the General Administration of Customs shows that in March 2015, my country’s exports of textiles and clothing were approximately US$12.564 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 32.59% and a month-on-month decrease of 42.04%. Among them, exports of textile yarns, fabrics and products were US$5.875 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 29.07%, and a month-on-month decrease of 30.03%; exports of clothing and clothing accessories were US$6.689 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 35.40%, and a month-on-month decrease of 49.63%.
From January to March 2015, my country’s total exports of textiles and clothing were US$59.781 billion, an increase of US$1.651 billion compared with the same period last year, and a year-on-year increase of 2.84%.
