U.S. imports of textiles and clothing billions of dollars

In February 2015, the total value of textile and apparel imports into the United States was US$8.045 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 0.98% and a month-on-month decrease of 5.98%. Among them, textile and clothing imports from China were US$2.873 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 2.56%, a month-on-month decrease of 12.95%, accounting for 35.71% of the total import share of the United States, a decrease of 2.86 percentage points from the previous month; textile and clothing imports from Vietnam were US$772 million, a year-on-year decrease of 1.06%. A month-on-month decrease of 8.92%, accounting for 9.59% of the total share, a decrease of 0.31 percentage points from the previous month; textile and clothing imports from India were US$599 million, a year-on-year increase of 9.08%, a month-on-month increase of 2.54%, accounting for 7.45% of the total share, an expansion from the previous month 0.67 percentage points.
