The notifying country in this case is Latvia. The T-shirts notified this time are dark blue and orange, with letters printed on the surface. The style/model of the above product is YF-3892A. The product’s industry classification code (OECD Portal Category) is 67000000 (clothing).
The above-mentioned T-shirts can easily bring chemical dangers to consumers. The products contain azo dyes, which release aromatic amines (the measured concentration is 93 mg/kg) exceeding the level stipulated by law. When consumers wear the T-shirt and have direct contact with the skin for a long time, aromatic amines can be absorbed by the skin. Aromatic amines can easily cause cancer, cell mutations, and affect the reproductive system. This product does not comply with REACH regulations.
At present, importers have taken voluntary destruction measures for the above products.
To this end, it is recommended that relevant domestic production and export enterprises attach great importance to this.
