Mexico announces reference prices for textile and apparel imports

According to the Mexican newspaper Reform, the Mexican official gazette recently published reference prices for textile and clothing imports to prevent underestimation of import prices. The reference price list includes 746 tax codes, including cotton, cloth, thread, sweaters, pants, shirts, coats, sheets, etc. For example, the import price of woolen fabric containing 85% wool is US$6.25 per company, cotton sewing thread is US$12.8 per kilogram, denim is US$2.49 per meter, etc.
