According to customs statistics, my country’s cotton cloth imports in November 2014 were 49.6764 million meters, a month-on-month decrease of 8.85%, a decrease of 11.59 percentage points larger than the previous month; a year-on-year decrease of 17.8%, a decrease of 0.23 percentage points smaller than the previous month. The export volume of cotton cloth was 761.9277 million meters, a month-on-month decrease of 0.62%, and the decrease was 6.57 percentage points larger than the previous month; it was a year-on-year decrease of 3.85%, and the decrease was 17.15 percentage points larger than the previous month.
In the first 11 months of 2014, my country imported a total of 599.5308 million meters of cotton cloth, a year-on-year decrease of 17.87%; the country exported a total of 7,682.621 million meters of cotton cloth, a year-on-year decrease of 7.97%.
In 2014/15 (2014.9-2014.11), my country imported a total of 157.22 million meters of cotton cloth, a year-on-year decrease of 18.52%; the cumulative export of cotton cloth was 2.252183 million meters, a year-on-year increase of 1.38%.
