According to data from the U.S. Department of Commerce, the United States imported 5.7 billion square meters of textiles and clothing in October 2014, of which 2.9 billion square meters were imported from China.
From January to October this year, the United States imported a total of 58.9 billion square meters of textiles and clothing, a year-on-year increase of 5.0%, and imported a total of 28.4 billion square meters of textiles and clothing from China, a year-on-year increase of 6.5%.
