An increase of 1.59% month-on-month, accounting for 9.43% of the total share, a decrease of 0.01 percentage points from the previous month; textile and clothing imports from India were US$634 million, a year-on-year increase of 6.39%, a month-on-month increase of 17.98%, accounting for 6.06% of the total share, an expansion from the previous month 0.83 percentage points.
As of October 2014, the United States had imported a total of US$91.626 billion in textiles and clothing, a year-on-year increase of 3%, including US$35.751 billion in textile and clothing imports from China, a year-on-year increase of 0.8%; US$8.522 billion in textile and clothing imports from Vietnam, a year-on-year increase of 14.93%; Textile and clothing imports were US$5.72 billion, a year-on-year increase of 6.81%; textile and clothing imports from Bangladesh were US$4.348 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 2.18%; textile and clothing imports from Indonesia were US$4.403 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 2.64%; textile and clothing imports from Mexico were US$4.038 billion, A year-on-year increase of 2.6%; textile and clothing imports from Pakistan were US$2.604 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 0.28%.
