According to customs statistics, my country’s cotton cloth imports in October 2014 were 54.4996 million meters, a month-on-month increase of 2.74%, a decrease of 8.63 percentage points from the previous month; a year-on-year decrease of 18.03%, a decrease of 1.64 percentage points from the previous month. The export volume of cotton cloth was 766.6659 million meters, a month-on-month increase of 5.95%, an increase of 9.65 percentage points from the previous month; a year-on-year increase of 13.3%, an increase of 17.13 percentage points from the previous month.
In the first 10 months of 2014, my country imported a total of 549.854 million meters of cotton cloth, a year-on-year decrease of 17.88%; the country exported a total of 6920.694 million meters of cotton cloth, a year-on-year decrease of 8.4%.
In 2014/15 (2014.9-2014.10), my country imported a total of 107.544 million meters of cotton cloth, a year-on-year decrease of 18.85%; the cumulative export of cotton cloth was 1.490255 million meters, a year-on-year increase of 4.28%.
