According to statistics from the Customs Information Network, in the first three quarters of this year, my country exported a total of US$214.1 billion in textile raw materials and products, an increase of 5.8% over the same period last year. Among them, the export of natural fiber products was US$16.23 billion, down 6.2% from the same period last year; the export of chemical fiber and industrial textile products was US$33.04 billion, an increase of 7.9% from the same period last year; the export of clothing and accessories products was US$164.83 billion, down 6.2% from the same period last year. An increase of 6.8%. In addition, my country’s textile machinery exports in the first three quarters were US$2.3 billion, an increase of 24% over the same period last year.

Exports to Southeast Asian countries fell
In the first three quarters of this year, my country’s main export markets for natural fiber products were Hong Kong, Vietnam and Bangladesh. The total export value to the above three markets accounted for 30.6% of the total exports of natural fiber products in the same period, with export values ​​of 23.4% respectively. billion, US$1.89 billion and US$1.66 billion, down 19.8%, 12.8% and 2% respectively year-on-year.
It can be seen that due to the impact of the international situation and industry, my country’s rapid growth in demand for natural fiber raw materials exported to low labor cost countries such as Vietnam and Bangladesh, driven by the international industrial transfer of the textile industry this year, has slowed down.
Looking at the main types of natural fiber products exported, the top 10 varieties all have export sales exceeding US$400 million.

Vietnam, Europe and the United States are my country’s main export markets
In the first three quarters of this year, my country’s exports of chemical fiber and industrial textile products were US$33.04 billion, an increase of 7.9% over the same period last year, of which exports to the EU were US$3.68 billion, a year-on-year increase of 16.6%; exports to Vietnam were US$3 billion, a year-on-year increase of US$3.68 billion. An increase of 43.6%; exports to the United States were US$1.96 billion, a year-on-year increase of 9.8%. The total export volume to the above three major markets accounted for 26.1% of my country’s total exports of chemical fiber and industrial textiles during the same period.
Judging from the main categories of chemical fibers and industrial textiles exported, polyester products rank first in terms of export volume.

Exports in the Japanese market continue to decline, with cotton clothing being the main export variety
In the first three quarters of this year, my country’s export volume of clothing and accessories products was US$164.83 billion, an increase of 6.8% over the same period last year. Among them, exports to the EU were US$38.56 billion, a year-on-year increase of 18.1%; during the same period, exports to the United States and Japan were US$29.22 billion and US$16.22 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.5% and a decrease of 9.5% respectively. The total export volume to the above three major markets accounted for 51% of my country’s total exports of clothing and accessories products during the same period.
Judging from the main types of exports, cotton clothing is the main category.
