The Mexican Ministry of Economy issued an announcement on February 6, 2018, launching an anti-dumping investigation into polyester staple fiber originating in China. The Mexican customs tariff numbers of the products involved are: 55032001 and 55032099.
The dumping investigation period in this case is from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017, and the damage investigation period is from July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2017. The Chinese exporters listed in Article 22 of the filing announcement need to submit their answers within 23 working days (starting from 5 days after the questionnaire is sent). Other interested parties need to submit their responses within 23 working days starting from 5 days after the announcement of this announcement. The enterprises involved in the case are required to complete the answer sheet according to the requirements of the investigation agency. The deadline for submission of supporting materials is 14:00 on March 16, 2018.
