At around 3 a.m. on April 4, a fire broke out in the cotton warehouse of a Chinese-funded enterprise in Mong Cai, Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam. The area of the affected factory and warehouse was more than 60,000 square meters, and the fire area was 8,000 square meters. After the fire broke out, Vietnam dispatched 10 fire trucks and 40 rescue workers to the scene.
Due to the complexity of the fire, the Mong Cai City Government in Vietnam called the fire department of Dongxing City in China for help. Considering the seriousness of the disaster, the Dongxing City Fire Brigade mobilized 15 fire trucks, 2 firefighting robots, and 90 tons of foam to the fire scene to assist in the rescue in accordance with the previously agreed firefighting cooperation mechanism between Dongxing City in China and Mong Cai City in Vietnam.
After arriving at the fire scene, Chinese fire fighters used 60-meter-high jet fire trucks and 25-meter-high jet fire trucks to control the fire from the south and west.
