Padding process parameters, such as vehicle speed, padding temperature, liquid viscosity, padding times, fabric structure, fiber characteristics, process conditions before padding, etc., all have a certain impact on the rolling residue rate. Among them, vehicle speed and padding temperature are the main influencing factors.
The influence of vehicle speed can be analyzed from the two processes of dipping and rolling. When the vehicle speed increases, the impregnation time of the fabric is short, the liquid absorption is small, and the liquid content of the fabric is low; however, the time for the fabric to pass through the rolling point is also shortened, and the rolling residue rate will increase. Therefore, in actual production, the above situations will wax and wane with each other depending on the mechanical properties, operating conditions, fabric characteristics and the degree of processing before padding.
The increase in the temperature of the rolling liquid will inevitably reduce the viscosity of the rolling liquid, which is beneficial to the reduction of the rolling stock rate.
