The notifying country in this case is Cyprus. The product notified this time is a black sweatshirt, suitable for 8-year-old boys. This sweatshirt features a hood with a free-end drawstring. The style/model number of the product is LF-0173. The barcode is 2210000244597. The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development industry classification code (OECD Portal Category) is 67000000 – Clothing.
The drawstring of the hood of the above-mentioned sweatshirt may get entangled during various activities of children, posing a risk of injury to children. This product does not comply with the requirements of the relevant European standard EN14682.
At present, retailers have taken delisting measures on the above products.
