Uzbekistan will vigorously develop its textile industry in the future

According to local media reports in Uzbekistan, the Uzbek government plans to implement more than 80 projects in the textile and light industry by 2020, with a total value of more than 1 billion US dollars. To this end, the Uzbek government has also formulated the “Textile and Light Industry Development Outline 2015-2020”. The implementation of the above-mentioned projects will increase the proportion of domestic lint processing in Uzbekistan to 60%.
