On the afternoon of October 24, Brandik India Textile City (BIAC) will hold a promotion meeting at the Wenzhou International Hotel to provide an investment and development platform for Chinese garment and textile companies interested in investing overseas.
It is understood that BIAC is invested and constructed by Brandix, Sri Lanka’s largest apparel exporter. It is located in Visakhapatnam City, Andhra Pradesh, eastern India, covering a total area of 1,000 acres (approximately 4.04 million square meters). The Indian government officially recognizes the comprehensive textile industrial park specially built for large garment and textile companies. BIAC adheres to the full supply chain concept of “from thread to store”, carries out vertically integrated management in the park, supports large-scale knitting, garment manufacturing, processing, printing and other production, and is committed to becoming a procurement center for knitted and woven garment enterprises. BIAC has advantages in terms of policy environment, land and labor costs, and has cooperated with international brands such as Martha and Victoria’s Secret, and has complete infrastructure. In addition, Andhra Pradesh, where BIAC is located, is the third largest cotton producer in India.
