News: Textile and apparel exports increased by .% year-on-year

According to data from the General Administration of Customs, my country’s exports of textiles and clothing in September 2014 were approximately US$28.552 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.4%. The growth rate decreased by 1.49 percentage points from the previous month and expanded by 1.6 percentage points from the same period last year; it decreased by 6.49% from the previous month. The decrease expanded by 7.1 percentage points from the previous month and 1.29 percentage points from the same period last year. Among them, exports of textile yarns, fabrics and products were US$9.752 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.31%, an increase of 1.17 percentage points from the previous month, and an increase of 0.9 percentage points from the same period last year; a month-on-month decrease of 2.12%, a decrease of 0.71 percentage points from the previous month. A decrease of 1.07 percentage points compared with the same period last year. Exports of clothing and clothing accessories were US$18.8 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.45%, a decrease of 2.82 percentage points from the previous month, and an increase of 1.95 percentage points from the same period last year; a month-on-month decrease of 8.61%, a decrease of 10.23 percentage points from the previous month, and an increase from the same period last year. 2.4 percentage points.
From January to September 2014, my country’s total exports of textiles and apparel totaled US$221.935 billion, an increase of US$12.405 billion compared with the same period last year. It increased by 5.92% year-on-year, and the growth rate decreased by 6.03 percentage points compared with the same period last year.
