The General Administration of Customs recently issued an announcement and decided to launch the integrated reform of customs clearance in the Yangtze River Economic Belt customs area in Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Hefei, Nanchang, Wuhan, Changsha, Chongqing, Chengdu, Guiyang, and Kunming.

It is reported that the reform will first be launched on a trial basis in Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Ningbo and Hefei customs. It is worth mentioning that after the implementation of regional customs clearance integration, customs in the Yangtze River Delta region will mutually recognize the results of professional determinations such as commodity pre-classification, price pre-review, origin pre-determination and license, classification, price, etc., as well as temporary Administrative licensing decisions such as exit; after the system is perfected, based on the bank’s general guarantee and consolidated taxation items, a tax guarantee letter of the enterprise will be mutually recognized by the customs in the Yangtze River Delta region.
