U.S. textile and apparel imports from China decreased by .% year-on-year

In July 2014, the United States imported US$10.4425 billion in textiles and clothing, a year-on-year decrease of 0.55% and a month-on-month increase of 15.62%. Among them, textile and clothing imports from China were US$4.29 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 3.3%, and a month-on-month increase of 17.83%, accounting for 41.08% of the total share, an increase of 0.77 percentage points from the previous month; textile and clothing imports from Vietnam were US$949 million, a year-on-year increase of 6.06%, and a month-on-month increase of 41.08%. An increase of 14.03%, accounting for 9.09% of the total share, a decrease of 0.12 percentage points from the previous month; textile and clothing imports from India were US$584 million, a year-on-year increase of 14.45%, a month-on-month increase of 15.31%, accounting for 5.59% of the total share, a decrease from the previous month 0.01 percentage points.
As of July 2014, the United States had imported a total of US$60.427 billion in textiles and clothing, a year-on-year increase of 2.39%. Among them, textile and clothing imports from China were US$22.402 billion, a year-on-year increase of 0.25%; textile and clothing imports from Vietnam were US$5.599 billion, a year-on-year increase of 13%; textile and clothing imports from India were US$3.985 billion, a year-on-year increase of 6.65%; textile and clothing imports from Indonesia were US$3.091 billion.
