According to Shijiazhuang Customs statistics, Hebei Province’s exports of clothing and clothing accessories from January to July were 12.85 billion yuan, accounting for 10.7% of the province’s total foreign trade export value; the export value increased by 3.9% compared with the same period last year.
Private enterprises are still the main force in exports. Private exports of clothing, including collectives, private enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households, reached 10.61 billion yuan, an increase of 6.7%, accounting for 82.6% of the total export value.
Russia, the European Union, and the United States are the three major clothing export markets in Hebei Province. From January to July, clothing from Hebei Province was exported to 141 countries and regions around the world. Among them, exports to Russia were 4.61 billion yuan, an increase of 16.6%; exports to the European Union (28 countries) were 3.12 billion yuan, an increase of 7.1%; exports to the United States were 1.91 billion yuan, an increase of 2.9%; the three together accounted for 30% of the province’s total clothing export value during the same period. 75%.
