News: Imported cotton yarn decreased by % year-on-year

According to China Customs, my country imported approximately 156,000 tons of cotton yarn in July, an increase of 11% month-on-month and a year-on-year decrease of 21%.
From January to July, my country imported a total of 1.143 million tons of cotton yarn, with the cumulative total declining for the first time year-on-year, a decrease of 1.7%.
In July, my country exported about 35,000 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year decrease of 18% and a month-on-month decrease of 2%.
From January to July, my country exported a total of 274,000 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year decrease of 10.6%.
In the 2013/14 cotton year (2013.09-2014.07), my country imported a total of 1.875 million tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year increase of 7.8%; the cumulative export of cotton yarn was 441,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 4.9%.
