The first China-Russia Expo is about to open, and the General Administration of Customs has announced the Sino-Russian trade situation in the first five months of this year.
According to customs statistics, in the first five months of this year, my country’s total imports and exports to Russia were 225.97 billion yuan, an increase of 1.8% over the same period last year (the same below), accounting for 2.2% of my country’s total foreign trade imports and exports during the same period. Russia continues to be my country’s The 9th largest trading partner status. Among them, exports to Russia were 114.08 billion yuan, an increase of 1.6%; imports from Russia were 111.89 billion yuan, an increase of 2%. The cumulative trade surplus was 2.19 billion yuan, a decrease of 2%.
In the month of May, my country’s imports and exports to Russia were 48.26 billion yuan, an increase of 6.1%. Among them, exports to Russia were 25.02 billion yuan, an increase of 2.6%; imports from Russia were 23.24 billion yuan, an increase of 10.2%.
It is reported that my country’s imports and exports to Russia have shown a continuous rebound trend since March, with the import and export value in May increasing by 6.8% month-on-month. Among them, exports increased by 8.2% month-on-month, and increased month-on-month for three consecutive months; imports increased by 5.3% month-on-month, and the import value hit a new high in the past 13 months.
In May, my country’s imports and exports to Russia through general trade amounted to 34.12 billion yuan, an increase of 6%, accounting for 70.7% of my country’s total imports and exports to Russia during the same period. During the same period, imports and exports through processing trade amounted to 5.8 billion yuan, an increase of 21.1%, accounting for 12%; imports and exports through small-scale border trade amounted to 4.3 billion yuan, a decrease of 4.4%, accounting for 8.9%.
In May, my country’s exports of mechanical and electrical products to Russia were 12.21 billion yuan, an increase of 4.1%, accounting for 48.8% of my country’s total exports to Russia in the same period; exports of clothing and clothing accessories were 4 billion yuan, a decrease of 2.2%; textile yarns and fabrics and products were 1.59 billion yuan, an increase of 2.4%.
Crude oil is my country’s largest imported commodity from Russia. In May, China imported 14.57 billion yuan of crude oil from Russia, a year-on-year increase of 53.2%.
