Bangladesh’s knitted garment exports increased by .% year-on-year

In May 2014, Bangladesh’s textile and apparel exports were US$2.457 billion, a year-on-year increase of 8.29% and a month-on-month increase of 13.25%. Among them, woven clothing exports reached US$1.092 billion, a year-on-year increase of 9.48%, and a month-on-month increase of 15.59%, while knitted clothing exports reached US$1.116 billion, a year-on-year increase of 10.65%, and a month-on-month increase of 14.74%.
In this fiscal year (2013.7-2014.5), Bangladesh’s textile and apparel exports totaled US$24.551 billion, a year-on-year increase of 12.56%. Among them, the cumulative exports of woven clothing were US$11.26 billion, a year-on-year increase of 13.47%, and the cumulative exports of knitted clothing were US$10.919 billion, a year-on-year increase of 16.28%.
