On April 8, 2023, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2023/14, imposing the third anti-dumping sunset on polyurethane-impregnated textiles originating in China. Review the affirmative final ruling and continue to impose an anti-dumping duty of US$1/kg on the products involved under tax numbers 5903.20.10.10.00 and 5903.20.10.90.00. The products involved in the case are subject to anti-dumping duties of US$2.2/kg. The measures take effect from the date of announcement and are valid for 5 years.
On June 7, 2004, Turkey launched an anti-dumping investigation into polyurethane-impregnated textiles originating in China. On February 5, 2005, Turkey made a positive final ruling on the case and began to levy anti-dumping duties. It imposed an anti-dumping tax of US$1/kg on the products involved under tax numbers 5903.20.10.10.00 and 5903.20.10.90.00. An anti-dumping duty of US$2.2/kg is levied on the products involved under tariff numbers 5903.20.90.10.00 and 5903.20.90.90.00. Since then, Turkey has conducted two sunset review investigations. On October 31, 2010 and November 2, 2016, Turkey made two affirmative final rulings and extended the tax deadline. On October 30, 2021, Turkey launched the third sunset review investigation into the case.
