According to statistics from the Tunisian Textile Technology Center, Tunisia’s textile and clothing product exports in the first quarter of 2014 were tud 1.41 billion, approximately US$880 million, a year-on-year increase of 3%. Among them, clothing exports amounted to RMB 1.22 billion, equivalent to approximately US$760 million, a year-on-year increase of 9.9%.
The export market countries of Tunisia’s textile and clothing products are: the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, and Italy; the main import and export countries are: Italy, France, Belgium, and Germany.
