Pakistan’s textile and apparel exports grow

In the first 10 months of this fiscal year, Pakistan’s textile and clothing exports were US$11.437 billion, a year-on-year increase of 6.5%. However, exports in April this year were only US$1.054 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 6%. The Pakistani government is currently formulating the textile industry policy for 2014-19, with a view to increasing textile exports to US$26 billion in 2019.
