On May 21, 2014, Health Canada and Babysoy Company jointly announced a voluntary recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas.
The name of the recalled product is children’s pajamas, with product models 200 and 500, suitable for babies aged 6 to 12 months. The product colors are chocolate, blue/brown, purple-brown, pink, etc., and are equipped with different patterns. Sold in Canada from January 2010 to May 2014.
The number of recalled products sold in Canada is approximately 587. The reason for the recall is that children’s pajamas do not meet Canadian flammability standards. As of now, Health Canada and Babysoy have not received any accident reports.
For this reason, Health Canada recommends that consumers stop using the product immediately and return it to the store where it was purchased for a full refund or free replacement.
