Bangladesh’s knitted garment exports increased by .% year-on-year

In April 2014, Bangladesh’s textile and apparel exports were US$2.169 billion, a year-on-year increase of 17.66% and a month-on-month increase of 0.29%. Among them, the export volume of woven clothing was US$945 million, a year-on-year increase of 13.14%, and a month-on-month decrease of 4.87%, while the export value of knitted clothing reached US$972 million, a year-on-year increase of 22.3%, and a month-on-month increase of 5.61%.
In this fiscal year (2013.7-2014.4), Bangladesh’s textile and apparel exports totaled US$22.095 billion, a year-on-year increase of 13.06%. Among them, the cumulative exports of woven clothing were US$10.167 billion, a year-on-year increase of 13.91%, and the cumulative exports of knitted clothing were US$9.804 billion, a year-on-year increase of 16.96%.
