Paraguay plans to revise textile label draft

Recently, Paraguay announced draft technical regulations on textile product labeling and conformity assessment, as well as partial revisions to Article 1 of Resolution No. 258/04. This draft technical regulation aims to provide for the conformity assessment procedures of the “Technical Regulations on the Labeling of Textile Products”. The draft document will apply to labeling and marking of textile products. It regulates the information to be displayed on the labels of textile products in order to facilitate the verification of information on domestic or foreign products sold in Paraguay.
