India has exported 1.082 billion kilograms of cotton yarn in the first 10 months of the 2013-14 fiscal year (from April last year to January this year), with an export value of US$3.75 billion. India’s cotton yarn export volume and export value in the 2013-14 fiscal year are expected to reach 1.35 billion kilograms and US$4.7 billion respectively. The high quality of Indian cotton yarn ensures strong demand in the international market.
