According to customs statistics, exports of textile yarn, fabrics and products from January to April this year were 205.45 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.6%; clothing exports were 295.36 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.9%;
One increase and one decrease may be due to the transfer of domestic garment factories to Southeast Asia in recent years and the transfer of export clothing orders to Southeast Asia for procurement. On the contrary, Southeast Asia has a large demand for Chinese textiles such as fabrics and yarns.
