On February 4, 2014, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Runway Global jointly announced a voluntary recall of Chinese-made women’s jackets.
The product name of this recall is women’s jackets with drawstrings at the neck. The product models are KMCBJ255, KMCBJ410, and KMCBJ421. They were sold in the Burlington Coat Factory store and its website in the United States from September 2011 to September 2013, and the price is about for $40.
About 820 of the recalled products were sold in the United States. The reason for the recall is that the drawstring at the neck of the coat may pose a choking hazard to children. So far, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Runway Global have not received any accident reports.
For this reason, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recommends that consumers immediately remove the drawstring and return the product to the Burlington Coat Factory store for a full refund.
