1. The United States and the European Union maintain growth, while Japan continues to decline
From January to December, home textile exports to the United States maintained steady growth, with an export volume of US$6.39 billion, an increase of 10.2%, accounting for 25.9% of total exports. Exports to the EU turned from falling to rising, with exports worth US$3.86 billion, an increase of 2.8%, accounting for 15.7% of total exports. Exports to Japan still maintained negative growth, with exports valued at US$2.88 billion, a decrease of 4.7%, accounting for 11.7% of total exports.
The export situation of home textiles to other major markets other than Europe, the United States, and Japan is relatively good, such as Russia, Kazakhstan, etc., with export growth between 31% and 42%. In addition, from a regional perspective, home textile exports to ASEAN and Africa grew rapidly, with growth rates of 55.4% and 14.7% respectively.
2. The situation in Zhejiang and Jiangsu is relatively good, and Guangdong has turned from falling to rising
The export situation of the top five provinces and cities in home textiles is uneven. Zhejiang and Jiangsu ranked in the top two, with exports in good condition, increasing by 12.6% and 9.7% respectively; Shandong and Shanghai ranked third and fourth respectively, with exports increasing slightly, with increases of 3.7% and 2.5% respectively; Guangdong’s exports turned from falling to rising. , an increase of 8.7%. In addition, exports from provinces and cities such as Heilongjiang, Liaoning and Tianjin grew rapidly, with an increase rate between 35% and 46%.
