Ben donates clothing to Yemen

According to a report by Yemen’s Saba News Agency on January 20, Japan donated 200,000 pieces of Uniqlo clothing to 63,000 displaced people in Yemen through the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. The plan is part of Japan’s $88 million humanitarian and economic reconstruction assistance plan for Yemen in 2012/2013. According to the plan, Japan will provide $21 million in aid to displaced persons in Yemen through the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister Makino, who was also visiting recently, attended the clothing donation event.
