On January 15, 2014, at the request of The Indonesian Textile Industries Association (The Indonesian Textile Industries Association), Indonesia initiated a safeguard measure investigation on imported yarn (except sewing thread). The customs codes of the products involved are 5205 and 5206.
According to customs data, the export volume of the products involved in the case from January to November 2013 was US$23.63 million. The companies involved are concentrated in Jiangsu, Guangdong and other provinces.
